How can Dancing For Life benefit potential customers?

Learning to dance is a process.  It can take a number of years to master many styles, or months, or weeks depending on what you want to accomplish.  Many client’s have a special purpose for learning to dance, like a wedding or bar and bat mitzvahs. Others want to learn to be able to enjoy going out to social dances for fun.  Whether it is for a special occasion or social fun, Dancing For Life, can assist you in getting where you want to go.

There are a few factors that go into the learning process for dancing.  It starts with how well do the potential client’s hear the beat of the music?  How coordinated are they to pick up the steps?  How much will they practice in between their lessons?  These aspects can influence how fast or slow the process could be.  The good news is, no matter where you may be, if you put in the time and energy, you can learn and reach your dancing goals.

With Dancing For Life instruction, you get individualized attention, especially with private lessons.  I will adapt the learning process to your needs and how you retain information.  For instance, some people remember easier by seeing the steps over and over, some learn better by counting, others by feeling, or it could be a combination of all of these.  I find out which ways work with the particular people, and implement that method.  I will go at the pace of the students to make sure they can pick up the steps and are feeling more confident.  Even in group classes, I go around and help, to correct what is needed.

For a wedding first dance, for example, I will ask the client’s if they are more understated, or out there in personality.  Then I can make the choreography more suitable to who they are and how they want to present themselves to family and friends with their first dance together.

Some people are shy and uncertain when it comes to dancing.  With Dancing For Life, I have a home studio which is private and comfortable for those that prefer that setting.  I am flexible in scheduling, weekdays, weeknights, and weekends, depending on what is already booked.  I offer a 6 week session beginning group class on Thursday nights in Santa Monica, and an intermediate group ongoing class on Tuesday nights at my home studio.

These are the benefits for taking lessons with Dancing For Life, and whatever you choose, go somewhere, get going on the dance floor, and enjoy another expression of life through dancing.
